Just a few of the events over the last couple of weeks include: me substituting at the preschool a few mornings, Jim going to a leadership conference for a few nights, and ending the week with Easter with our church friends and neighborhood egg hunt. I somehow did not manage to get an Easter picture of the girls. We were running very late getting to church so I planned to get one when we got home. Well, we had company coming over for lunch and I ended up having to stay at church later than usual because of a nursery issue. Anyhow, the picture never happened. I think I am going to get the girls back into their dresses one day this week and take a few pictures. We had a wonderful day celebrating our risen Savior with our church family friends the Goldsteins, and Mr. Cullen.

Janey is highly allergic to oak pollen, and our backyard is full of oak trees. This is one morning last week, and both eyes looked this way by the end of the day. Her Allergist called in some super powerful eye drops that we have been using the last week and it has helped tremendously!!

They wanted me to take their picture in their new spring outfits!
Janey's preschool has an Easter egg hunt every year. Janey was super excited that day because the VPK class(her class) was going to get to help hide the eggs for the three year old classes.

The kids decorate egg cartons to hunt with because it helps everyone get exactly twelve eggs.

Such sweet friends!!

I took this picture of the girls waiting on Jim to get home. He had gone to a conference for a few day, and they were ready to have him back home!

MV loves to read. This was her reading while eating a snack over the weekend.

The Easter Bunny has never visited our house. Normally, Jim and I give the girls their Easter goodies as a gift from us. Well, a few months ago, MV asked if the Easter Bunny could please bring them their Easter goodies instead. Jim and I agreed. Before they went to bed on Saturday night, each girl drew a picture that they said they wanted to leave for the Easter Bunny. As you see, they both drew a picture with "He is Risen" on it. I love the fact that they witnessed to the Easter Bunny!!
