Nutcracker Dress Rehearsal

"The Nutcracker" dress rehearsal was last night!  Mary Varner knew her dance, and did very well!  Janey decided not to participate in rehearsals, but assures me that she is ready to go on stage for the actual performance tonight!

Janey's preschool class sang Christmas carols at a senior citizen center on Wednesday.  She did a great job, and really put a smile on all the elderly people at the center!

Mary Varner had her 1st grade musical last night called, "HATS".  She was Queen Elizabeth and had a line to say.  She did a great job, and looked like she was having a great time on stage!!

Parties

Janey and Mary Varner had Christmas parties on Friday.  Janey's was after ballet at her friend, Savannah's house.  Some of her sweet friends from preschool came, and they had a great time decorating cookies.  As soon as Janey's party was over, we headed to Mary Varner's class party at school.   Overall, it was a very busy (we did Santa visit that afternoon), but FUN day!!!

They had a book exchange for gifts, and the kids played musical chairs to see which gift was theirs.  Mary Varner danced the entire game as the music played!!

A visit with Santa

I took the girls yesterday to see Santa at Bass Pro!  Both girls were very excited to tell Santa that they have been good girls, and that they wanted him to bring them the American girl dolls that they picked out!

We had lots of fun as usual putting up, and decorating the Christmas tree last weekend!

The next morning (and many mornings this week) first thing when Janey gets up, she quietly comes and sits at the tree for a few minutes.  She is really enjoying and super excited about Christmas this year!!

Thanksgiving 2013

We spent Thanksgiving week in Mississippi this year!  It is always so wonderful to spend the holiday with our families! Here is just a glimpse into how much fun we had with everyone!!  The first few pictures my Aunt Beth took, and I saved from my phone. My computer is not letting me edit them to take off the phone info on them.  I will edit them before I put them into the blog book.

Enjoying our fifth and final Family Thanksgiving Luncheon at  First Baptist Preschool.  Both of our girls have LOVED everyday that they spent at this wonderful preschool. 



Janey LOVES her friend, Savannah.  They have been in the same class for 3 year old and 4 year old. They also are in the same ballet class.  Both girls will go to Bluewater for Kindergarten next year, and would love it if they were in the same class!!
