Daddy/ Daughter Dance 2014

Last night our church had the second annual Daddy Daughter Dance.  The girls and Jim were super excited about going again this year!  This year they divided up the time for different age groups.  Five and under went from 4-6, and Six years old and up went from 6-8PM.  Well, of course we have a girl for each group.  Jim took Janey first, and then I brought Mary Varner up to the church when it was her time and brought Janey back home.  I did stay for about 45 minutes when I went to switch girls just to watch the action. The dance was a great success as a community outreach event, and it raised lots of money for the orphanage in Haiti that our church helps support.

Janey was up first.  She loved to twirl her dress around, and was excited about going in the corvette.

Mary Varner was after Janey.  I drove her up to the church to meet up with Jim.  She got to ride in the corvette on the way home.  She picked out this dress especially for this occasion! I actually teared up when I saw her for a second.  What am I going to do when it is the prom for these girls???

Janey with her good friend Cora and Abigail.  All the little girls LOVE Abigail and look up to her!!

These were the only pictures I took because I was not there long.  There was  a photographer  that took photos, and I plan to get on her website in the next few days to see if she got any that I would like to have.
