Hollywood Studios- Day One

We ate dinner at the Prime Time 50's diner Thursday evening. Janey and Ben love to play and laugh together. It is really sweet how they enjoy being together! All of us were very excited about finally being at Disney.

After eating dinner at the Prime Time 50's diner, we headed over to the Fantasmic show. The show was wonderful, and the reality of how awesome the next couple of days were going to be sunk in as I watched my girls faces during the show!

After the Fantasmic show, the park had extra magic hours for the guests. Rena and I took the kids to ride the Toy Story ride while Jim and John went to ride the Tower of Terror. When we were on our way out of the park, one of the workers told us that Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy were going to stop by for a dance party. We took the kids in and sure enough, the characters were there dancing with the children. Ben and Mary Varner had a great time, but Janey was scared to death. I knew before we left that Janey was either going to love or hate the characters. Well, let's just say that as long as they were across the room she was o.k (sort of), but did not want them close to her at all!!

Mary Varner wore herself out much faster than normal because of her recent leg break, so she would usually fall asleep on the bus ride back to the hotel every night!
