One Friday night, Janey had a pizza and pajamas birthday party at her friend Savannah's house. I decided this would be a good opportunity for me to have a Mama/Daughter date with Mary Varner. She chose to go the Mexican restaurant!! We had a great time, and some really good conversations! I can not believe how much she has changed/grown just in the last year!!
Allie had one of he cheer competition here a couple of weekends ago. We enjoyed spending most of the day and evening with Brad, Jen, Allie, and her friend Amaya.
Both girls had artwork that got voted on to be entered in the county art show. There were only 60 spots for their school out of the 800 plus students. Janey's art was an oil pastel of pumpkins( the one ine the middle with black background), and Mary Varner's was a monochromatic painting using the same shades of one color.
Their art teacher, Mrs Saczynski!
The school had a "Stomp out Cancer" mile fun run last week to help raise money for the Relay for Life Team. The run was during each girls' PE time. I tried to keep up with them on the runs, but both of them ended up running on ahead. We had fun, and raised money for a good cause!
MV with her friend, Taylor.
Janey's turn... It was really windy!
Janey with some of her sweet friends
Janey lost one of her top middle teeth. She kept looking in the mirror and dying out laughing.
Mary Varner painted this E painting in art. I love it and think it looks like stained glass.
