Egg hunt, Egg Drop, and a Birthday Party

Our neighborhood cul de sac neighbors had an Easter a egg hunt and Egg drop contest on the week end after Easter because it rained all of Easter weekend. The hunt always starts at the end of the cul de sac with all the children gathered together to hear the true Easter story read by Mrs. Tanja. Once the story is over, the kids are given instructions on which age group hunts in which yard. We look forward to this event every year!

Gathered together listening to the story

Janey hunting for eggs

This year the event included an egg drop contest. The girls put their egg inside a toilet paper roll and wrapped it in doll pillows. Their egg cracked, but they figured out some new ideas for the next time.

I took this picture of Charlie asleep upside down the other day!  He slept like this for over an hour.

Janey loves her new bedding that BB got her for her birthday.

Janey had her birthday party last weekend at the gymnastics place. The girls had a great time playing in all the gymnastics equipment!
