Disney World 2015

We left for our Disney family vacation on Tuesday, April 28th.  We had been planning this trip for almost a year, and were very excited!  The afternoon we arrived, we took the shuttle for our first trip to Downtown Disney, and then over to Chef Mickey's for dinner later that evening.

The girls always love to see the towel Mickey when we get to the hotel.

Downtown Disney is full of  neat stores.  We all enjoyed a sweet snack at Goofy's candy making company.  They make all sorts of candy right in front of you.  There was a lego store with all kinds of Disney lego stuff.  There was a section of the store where the kids could make different lego creation to buy or just for fun.  These awesome lego statues were mixed in throughout the store.  They are made of  nothing but legos...Jim and I kept thinking about how many hours and how many people it took to complete these. Of course, Jim liked the Incredible Hulk the best.  I thought the Buzz and Woody were pretty awesome too.

We had a late dinner at Chef Mickey's (8:45) that night.  The girls did not complain about starving because they both had big treats at Goofy's Candy shop that held them.  Also, it turned out to be a good time because when we finished dinner, the fireworks in Magic Kingdom were about to start.  Our waitress told us to just go out on the rooftop balcony and we would have a perfect spot for the show.  We watched the fireworks from the balcony, and then headed back to our hotel.
