Meet the Teacher

 Yesterday was meet the teacher and school orientation day!  The kindergartners  were the first group of the day to go because the orientation is a little longer for them.  Janey has Ms. Sims this year, and was very excited about getting to go play on the playground while the parents stayed inside for a meeting.  All the people we know that have had Ms. Sims before tell us that she is really nice and "oozes sweetness."  We are so excited to see what great things Janey will learn and do in Kindergarten this year!!

Mrs. Strickland and Mary Varner

Mary Varner has two teachers again this year, Mrs. Strickland and Mrs. Williams.  Mrs Strickland will teach her Math and Science, and Mrs. Williams will teach Reading, Language Arts, and Spelling. This year will be a little different than before because Mary Varner is in the gifted class called Team Quest.  She knows over half the people in her class, and is VERY excited about second grade!!
