Well, after an hour or so had passed she would not move her leg, and was SCREAMING in pain if we even barely touched it. We decided to take her for an X-ray. Once we got to the hospital, and they gave her medication for the pain, they told us that she had sprained her knee, and broken her tibia bone in her leg. Because the break is so close to the knee then she would have to be in a full leg cast. THey put her in a soft splint(to allow the swelling to go down) in the ER, and sent us home. After a few painful days in the splint, she finally started feeling a little better by Tuesday.
Jim and I took her on Wednesday to her Orthopeadic appointment to get her hard cast on. She was a little nervous about it (Jim and I more than she was), but the doctor was wonderful and she did not shed one tear! She now is sporting a pretty pink cast up to her thigh. She was a little disappointed when the doctor told her that she could not use crutches because he did not want to chance her falling on them and getting hurt even more. She will be carried or in a wheelchair everywhere she goes for the next 5-6 weeks.

Her friend since about 6 months old was in town for a few days and came over to play. They had fun drawing on the dry erase boards!
