1st day of School

Mary Varner started K-4 (VPK) on Wednesday, but because of her broken leg and getting her cast on that day, her 1st day was on Thursday! Janey is also going to the 2 year old room at the same preschool on Thursday mornings (9:00-1:00). So, Thursday was both girl's first day! Both girls were VERY excited about going to school! I was a little nervous about Janey just being her first time, but she did great. She didn't even cry when I said goodbye, and her teacher said that she had a wonderful day! I stayed with Mary Varner in her classroom for about the first hour or so until we figured out how her wheelchair was going to work at all the different learning centers, and I took her to the bathroom the first bathroom break. While I was taking her to the bathroom, she said, "Momma, it's ok, you can go now." So I took that as she was comfortable and left. She had a great day too, but was really tired when she got home! We are slowly getting into our new routine around here.
