Last Week of School

June 4th was the last day of school for the girls.  The last few days were filled with movies, games, cleaning out classrooms, and of course class parties.  Mary Varner's class had a luau party.  They enjoyed making grass skirts and leis, coconut bowling, eating snacks, and playing limbo.

Mary Varner with her friends, Bryson (who did a silly face on purpose and he is a friend from Awana ), and MaryGrace.  Mary Varner always lets me know that MaryGrace is one of ten children in her family. This is so amazing to her!

Riley's(a friend in MV's class) mom is Hawaiian, and grew up in Hawaii. She is showing the class how to do a Hawaiian Hula dance with help from Riley and her little sister.
Janey's class was suppose to have a sprinkler and snow cone party.  Well, the schools sprinklers were not working, so she had a fun day playing and eating snow cones.  As you can see from her lips and teeth, her snow cone was blue.  She had a great kindergarten year with Ms. Sims.  She teared up on the last day of school because she said she wanted to still be in Ms. Sims class.  I assured her that she could go by and visit Ms. Sims next year anytime she wanted.
