Mary Varner started First Grade this week. She was excited and nervous all at the same time. She was determined to help every kindergartner she saw because she was a first grader and knew where everything was at school. She has two teachers again this year, Mrs. Dannenmueller and Mrs. Conner. It is a team teacher setup where one teacher (Mrs.D) teaches Reading, Writing, Spelling, and the other teacher (Mrs. C) teaches Math, SS, Science. This year the teachers are in joining classrooms so the students do not actually switch just the teachers switch classrooms mid-day. Anyway, Mary Varner's teachers have a reputation as being challenging yet very loving and kind to their students. I have a great feeling that she is going to have another awesome year!!
