Preschool

Janey started 3 year old preschool last Thursday! She was so excited that morning, and kept telling Mary Varner that she was going to school too.  Her first day was a big success(only a few tears upon drop off), and she came home talking  about a new friend she met named Cash.   Janey now loves to contribute to the school talk at the dinner table along with her sister.  It is a big adjustment for me to not have her with me on the mornings (Tues.& Thurs) that she is at school.  I have found that I can get my grocery shopping/ errands/ cleaning done on Tuesdays  now, and I plan to be a parent volunteer in Mary Varner's classroom on Thursday mornings.  It is still hard to believe that she is old enough for preschool !
