The girls and I enjoyed celebrating Jim for Father's Day this past Sunday! Mary Varner saw in her Clubhouse Jr. magazine about putting notes inside balloons, and have daddy pop the balloons to read the notes. She asked me everyday last week to get the balloons to do this "surprise" for Jim on Father's day. I printed up a list of things that I asked the girls to answer about Jim. Here are some examples of the notes that we had in each balloon.
A few from Mary Varner's list: 1) If daddy could go on a trip, he would go to Disneyworld and he would take me. 2). I love when my daddy grills out. 3).My daddy likes to wear gym clothes 4) He is smart because he knows that we love him 5). My favorite thing about Daddy is his bedtime stories.
Now a few from Janey's list 1) My daddy is 5 years old, his hair is green, and his eyes are blue. 2) Daddy always tells me go clean my toys. 3) It makes my Daddy happy when I not disobey 4) My favorite thing about my Daddy is when he brushes my teeth. 5) If he could go on a trip, he would go to Mississippi and he would take my lovies.
Mary Varner and I put the pieces of paper in the balloons during nap time on Sunday while Jim was at the gym. He (and the girls) enjoyed popping the balloons and reading the sweet notes! Jim is such a great father and all his girls love him very much!
