3 parties for the 3 year old!

Janey was queen for the day yesterday, since it was her actual birthday. We started the morning with singing Happy Birthday and blowing a candle out that I put on her doughnut. She opened her gifts from us, Rock-n-Roll Elmo(MV picked out to give her) and Tinkerbell Walkie Talkies, and she also got a new bathing suit from MawMaw and Judy, and a cookie baking set from some close friends. After nap, we decorated some cookies, per her request, instead of cupcakes or a cake. We had a great day just celebrating our little girl, and I think that she finally understands that she is now really 3 years old. She has been confused because we had her birthday party with all her friends a couple of weeks ago at the church. Ever since then, when someone would ask her how old she was going to be on her birthday, she would tell them four. She naturally thought she had already turned 3 since she had her party.

Mary Varner made the birthday banner and help decorate the night before!
