Wrapping up 2011

The day before leaving Mississippi, Jim and I took the girls to the Children's Museum. B'B' and Allie met up with us there, and we all had a great morning playing with all the cool stuff in the museum. We finished up at the museum by lunchtime, and met up with Papa Doc for lunch. During lunch, Mary Varner stops all the sudden and announces that she just lost a tooth. After we all searched her plate and around the table we concluded that she had swallowed the tooth. She was concerned about how the tooth fairy was going to come if she did not have a tooth to put under her pillow. We came up with a plan that she could write a note to the tooth fairy explaining that she had swallowed the tooth. The tooth fairy came that night and left her a dollar.

Lots of fun at the Children's museum

Jim and I attended a wedding of a good friend of mine that night. We had a great time seeing lots of friends that we had not seen in a long time.

Our holiday week in Mississippi was a wonderful time with family and friends. We are so thankful for all that the Lord has blessed us with in 2011, and are looking forward to what He has planned for our family in 2012!
