After Janey's birthday party, my mom called and told us that Mimi had been very sick for the last day or so, and she was taking her to the hospital to get an IV for fluids. Later that evening, mom called back and said that they were putting Mimi into the ICU because she had double pneumonia and was not responding to the medicine. I made plans to leave to head back to Mississippi early the next morning. Mimi passed away by mid morning on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the age of 90. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to us all!! We will miss her so much, but have peace in knowing that she is in heaven with Jesus now.
