Softball Games

Janey started having games for softball last Saturday with a double header, and then a game on Thursday of this week.  She is having a great time playing, and received  the game ball in last Saturday's game.  She was awarded the game ball for making ball stops, getting players out, and having a big smile on her face the entire game!  The coach decided that since they had a double header for their first games that all would hit from a tee instead of trying to coach pitch.  Janey was a little disappointed because she likes to hit from the coach pitch.  Her game on Thursday they had coach pitch(for four pitches and then they get the tee if they do not hit from the coach pitch), and she hit from the coach pitch each time. In this age group everyone bats each time on both teams( no matter how many get out), and each team gets two times to bat per game. 

All ready for her team pictures.  She hates the uniform, and says how ugly and horrid they are each time she has to put it on.  I told her maybe when she is grown she can design  more girly looking softball uniforms.
