We had Janey's annual heart check up the last week in September. She loves to go to her heart appointment, and gets very hyper when we are there. This year we were not expecting an echo, since we had one last year, but Dr. Davenport thought he heard a vessel leaking. An echo was done, and her congenital valve and the vessel in question were doing fine. Janey amused everyone when the doctor was listening to her chest, and he had the stethoscope close to her belly. She said, " That is not were my heart is, it is over here", and pointed to her heart. Dr. Davenport said that is all his years of being a pediatric cardiologist that a child had never correcting him on being in the wrong spot. We all just laughed! It is always music to our ears when he says, "see you next year". We give God all the glory!
