Fun with gifts

Mary Varner and Janey have had a great time this week playing with some of MV's birthday gifts. 

 

She LOVES her snow princess dress she got from Papa Doc and Kay Kay (this is what MV wants to be for Halloween).  She is wanting it to snow here so bad, and said she was going to ask Santa Claus for just one day of snow. We informed her that God controls the weather not Santa.  Maybe we can make a weekend trip somewhere this winter so the girls can play in the snow. 

One of the gifts that Jim and I gave her was a bed pillow she can use to sit up and read in her bed.  The other gift from us was a remote control race car.  I have not gotten a picture of it in use yet.

 

 

Grandaddy and Nana sent her a bed tent.  Both girls spent hours playing in it, but chickened out when it came time for bed.  Mary Varner has always been picky about changing her sleeping arrangements.

Of course, Mary Varner loves the new school desk and backpack that B'B' sent for her AG doll.  Mary Varner has set up a "classroom" in her bedroom for her to teach Maddie.
