We went to our neighbors to grill out, play games, shoot some fireworks, and eat homemade ice cream for the fourth of July. After spending all day in the house due to lots of rain, we were all relieved when the rain finally stopped long enough for us to shoot a few fireworks. Mary Varner had a fun with the sparklers, but Janey did not want to touch one. The dads set off some bigger fireworks for everyone to see, and the girls clapped and cheered from the porch.
