One of Mary Varner's best friends(Jaidyn) from pre-school moved in next door back in February. They had no idea that we lived next door, and we did not know anything about our new neighbors except that they had two little girls ages 5 and 7. Well, Mary Varner figured out one day by hearing Jaidyn in the backyard that one of her best buddies had moved into the house next door. All the girls (including Janey) enjoy playing together at least a few days a week. A sleepover/spend the night party has been in the plans all summer, but with Mary Varner's soccer games being early Saturday mornings we had to wait until soccer was over. Well, this past Friday was the long awaited day!! They all had so much fun, playing babies/American girl doll, playing/performing gymnastics for Jim and I, coloring, painting, and cooking cookies. Jim and I were very surprised when everyone was sacked out by 9:00, and somewhat surprised when everyone was up and ready to party by 5:45 the next morning! Overall it was a great time, and we will plan lots more sleepovers in the future!
