Mary Varner had her 5 year old well child checkup about 2 weeks ago. She measured 48" tall and 47 lbs. She has always been tall for her age, but the dr. told us that she is not even on the 6 year old growth chart. She is actually on the lower end of the 7 year old growth chart. I guess that explains why I am buying size 7 in clothes now. Her weight is at the 95% range on the 5 year old chart.
This week we had her teeth cleaning and x-rays at the dentist. Everything looked great, and the dentist told me that she is about to loose her 3rd tooth. Also, two of her 6 year molars are already in, and the other two are about to come through. I know that this is all part of growing up, but she is growing up too fast....literally!!
