Kid's Fest 2011

Mary Varner's ballet class performed at the yearly Kid's Fest in Destin. We have never been to Kid's Fest because it is from Noon-4 (naptime)! Well, we went this year since MV was dancing, and I did put Janey down early for nap to get at least an hour and half nap before we left (we did not have to be there until 2:00). I have a feeling that this is something we are going to do again next year because it was so much fun!! There were lots of dance groups performing, face painting, jump houses, pictures with Hello Kitty, animal balloon making, fish rubbings, manicure stations, and many many other booths with local businesses offering all sorts of fun things for kids of all ages! Everything was free except for the "tip please" jars at each booth. The girls enjoyed getting their faces painted and MV got a manicure! We looked and looked for Hello Kitty to get a picture, but after we waited in the line for the face painting (30 min) we could not find her and the girls were getting tired! It was a very fun afternoon!!
