"This is big kid stuff, mama"!!

This week Mary Varner decided to try to go 5 nights without wetting her pull-up. This was totally her idea, because the last time I tried to get her not wear a pull-up at night, she told me that she would do that when she turned 5. Well, Tuesday morning she woke up and was VERY surprised that she was dry. As I was getting her dressed, she told me that if she went 5 nights being dry, then she did not have to wear a pull-up anymore. I agreed with her plan, and prayed every night that she would do it because she was so excited about it!! Every morning all week she woke up dry, and finally on Saturday morning she woke up and was so excited that she had accomplished her goal! She told me, "This is big kid stuff, mama, like a 7 or 8 year old thing"! I laughed a little and told her how proud we were of her. I let her pick out a "treat" when we went to Target that morning. SHe picked out some cotton candy, and enjoyed eating it as her snack yesterday. Last night was her first night in "real" underware , and she did great! On our way to church, she told us that she was going to tell all her friends at church that she wears big girl panties at night now!!
