Birthday Girl!

To our sweet Janey:
We thank God everyday for you! This day (March 31) last year was a very exciting, nervous, and scary day for all who love you. We were told by numerous doctors and witnessed for ourselves that you had a heart defect that was going to require immediate medical attention and surgery. Three days after you were born, the cardiologist in the NICU at UAB preformed an echocardiogram on your heart to see what was needed. When they did that test, they did not see the serious heart defect that had been seen so many times during Mommy's pregnancy. You see baby girl, you are a living testimony to God's wonderful healing power, and His graciousness to answer prayer! You have taught us how not to take anything for granted, how to trust in the Lord always, and to rejoice in the fact that the Lord has a plan for all of us. Your "million dollar" smile, the way you scrunch up your nose when you get excited, your many cowlicks and all the other little things about you warms our hearts and we are so honored that God chose us to be your parents! Happy Birthday baby girl! We love you, Daddy and Mama
