This Mother's Day was a little different! Mary Varner woke up with a fever, and very fussy. I thought at first that it may just be teething or something, gave her some Motrin and we stayed home from church. As the day went on, I realized that this was not teething that she was really sick!! She ran a high fever (in the 103/104 range) for the next three days. The doctor ruled out all major illnesses (strep,pneumonia etc.), so we just had a bad virus for 4 days! We are all better now, but I am still worn out from being up all through the night with a sick baby! NO FUN!!!
She did manage to help me open my gift and sweet cards that afternoon!

What a cutie! It is always a challenge to figure out in the first 24 hours what on earth is up with a child who has a fever and no other symptoms! Glad she's feeling better!
