Sleepover

Mary Varner invited two of her friends to come spend the night on Friday night for her birthday.  Mary Varner chose the menu to be pizza, chips, fruit, and birthday cupcakes.  She kept asking me all week about different movie options for the sleepover.  Well, John,Rena, Ben, Mollie and Annie, sent her the Disney movie, Descendants.  MV has been really wanting to see this movie, and was really excited when she got it as a gift.  The girls watch it that night, and then again halfway the next morning because they all liked it so much.

Nine Years!

 Mary Varner turned nine yesterday!!  Here is her birthday picture from the last nine years. Happy Birthday big girl...we love you bunches!

Jim's Birthday

Jim turned thirty nine on August 28th.  We celebrated Friday night with getting him his favorite ribs from Jim n Nicks BBQ for supper, singing Happy Birthday, and having some birthday cake.  He opened birthday cards from all the family that included gift cards to Lowe's to get a new grill.  He really enjoys grilling on the weekends, and the grill he got just a year ago was already starting to break. The new grill will be ready for pick up this weekend.  We are so ready to grill, and watch football on Saturday nights again!!

Charlie

Charlie had his yearly shots this week. He weighed in at 81 pounds( which passes Oscar in weight), and now has a big pinch collar for obedience training! He thinks he is lap dog when I get on the floor to play he always wants to get in my lap!

Life long friends

David, Claire, and Emily came down to vacation for a few days a little over a week ago.  Jim took off early that day, and we all went down to visit and go out to eat .  David and Jim talk from time to time, but this was the first time in two years that they had seen each other.  

A visit with family

 We followed BB back to Mississippi after our weekend in Atlanta(two weeks ago) to visit with family for a few days.  Here are a few pictures I took while we were there.
