What's been going on???

The past couple of weeks have been very busy around here!! Nana and Grandaddy came to visit and stayed with MV while Momma and Daddy went on a much needed Valentine night away! MV really enjoyed going to the park and showing them all the neat things there is to do! She even showed them her "bubble dance"(the park has a bubble machine and when it comes on she dances). Also, as you can see in the pictures MV's hair is starting to get longer in the back, but seems to not be growing as fast in the front, so to try and avoid a mullet look we are trying new things with the hair! This was my first attempt at pigtails and although they looked better at the beginning of the day, by 5:30 p.m. when I took these pics it was all over!! The last pic was the other day when I put jeans on MV for the first time since she has been walking (7 months)! I know, I do not know why I never buy her jeans, except for the fact that until recently I would just buy those Carter's sets and jumpsuit type things! Check out the pose MV gives when I tell her to say cheese~ can we say drama queen!!!

First Day at "Wee School"

Today was MV's first day at Wee School! This is a Mother's Morning Out Program at the Baptist Church! As you can tell she was very excited about going and especially interested in her red lunch bag which she called a "purse". I think that the day was a success because when I picked her up she had grape jelly from her PB&J all over her shirt, her hair was messed up, and she came home and slept for 2 hours!!

Bye,Bye Daddy!

Over the weekend MV started putting two word sentences together! Of course, the two sentences that she said were "Hey Daddy" when she came into the room, and "Bye,Bye Daddy when she went out of the room! We are working on saying "Hey Mama" or "Bye,Bye Mama"! Maybe she will say this week!

Fun with Daddy!!

MV loves to get into the mixing bowls and play! With this new interest in hats, she figured out that the mixing bowls made great hats! Even for Daddy!!

Head to Toe

MV's little personality is coming out more and more everyday! The most recent items of enjoyment are hats or just wearing things on her head in general, shoes (especially mama or daddy's), and her new pink elephant hooded towel! The main reason as of lately that she does not object to getting out of the bathtub is being able to wear her hooded towel. It seems like every thing is so new and exciting to her and it is really fun to watch her discover new things everyday!

Christmas cont...

We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas in Mississippi with all of our family! We are so fortunate that both of our families live close to one another, and we get to spend time with all of them on holidays! Here are some pictures of our time there with them!

Christmas 2007

We hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. On December 22nd, we had our Christmas celebration in Florida with just the three of us before we left for Mississippi on the 23rd. MV really enjoyed her new "wee" (a.k.a. slide) that was waiting for her in the family room when she woke up that morning!! She looked almost shocked when she saw it, and we could not hardly get her away from it the rest of the day ! The new pink baby doll stroller is also a new favorite!! She will kiss her stuffed animals and put them in the stroller and push them around. She did receive two baby dolls for the stroller once we got to Mississippi.

Sunday night we went caroling to the elderly people's homes in our church! I bought MV this hat thinking that she would never wear it, but instead she did not want to take it off. She loved the fact that it had a ball on it. Here are some pics before we left the house.
