So excited and ready for their week at camp!!

Father's Day and my Birthday

The girls and I headed to Mississippi on Father's Day this year because the girls were goin to Twin Lakes. We gave Jim his Father's Day gift the night before we left town.

We drove to Mississippi, and met up with Papa Doc, KK, and Brad and his family for supper that night. Brad and I share a birthday, and it landed on Father's Day this year so it was exciting for us all to be together to celebrate.

Ben, Mollie Grace, and Annie got to Jackson that day too. The older four were all going to Twin Lakes together. Grandaddy got to have all his grands at his house on Father's Day! 

Panama City Beach

We got a condo for the weekend in Panama City beach the second weekend of June. We had a great time just getting away from our normal " routine" for a couple of days.

Jim's department, Business Development, took a "team building" day, and spent a Friday on one of the co-workers( Mark Manship) boat. The spouses came along, and we all had fun hanging out on the boat, paddle boarding, and tubing behind a jet ski.

End of school and First week of Summer Break

Janey's end of the year party was an ice cream sundae party. The classes also signed each other's class shirts, and yearbooks.

Mary Varner's end of the year party consisted of eating snacks, a class cake, and playing games outside. Her group also had class awards. The teachers recognized the students with the highest yearly average in each of the subjects. Mary Varner received the award for Highest yearly average in Science, Social Studies, and Reading. The students also voted on awards for each other in things like," most Humerous, Most Friendly, Best  Helper etc. Mary Varner received " Best Helper" and "Cleanest Desk." Both girls had a great school year!!!

At the end of the games, MV's teachers brought out coolers full of water balloons and let the two classes have a water balloon fight! 

We went to the beach with the Christensen family on Memorial Day. The only picture I took was Jaidyn and Janey playing with Bugle chips like Monster claws. 

Janey still loves all her "children"! On this morning she was the choir director trying to teach them to sing. 

We bought a slip n slide the other day, and the girls have fun racing each other on it! 

End of May

They love to beat the heat by jumping on the trampoline while playing in the water hose!

Janey lost her other front tooth at school, and got to bring her tooth home in a special tooth shaped container from the school nurse!! 

BB, Grandaddy, and Nana came for the girls dance recital on the weekend of May 21st. Breakfast at IHOP, and getting toes painted are a tradition when BB is here. 

MV and Janey each performed two dances this year in the recital (ballet and jazz).

Janey had a back bridge where another girl came through the bridge in her jazz routine. Once the girl was out of the bridge, Janey flipped backwards to come out of the bridge. She worked really hard on this move in practice, and did an excellent job on stage doing it.

After the recital, we went to a restaurant on the bay. After supper, we enjoyed a walk out on the pier.

Both girls have been wanting to cut their hair short for summer. The Monday after the recital, I took them to get haircuts! 

Charlie turned Two on May 25th. We gave him a big raw hide bone that I thought would take him a few days to chew up... It took him a few hours!!!
